Celebrating Independence Day at The Hive

Almost 3,600 fans came out the last two nights to celebrate the fourth of July with their Bees, who split with Beloit on a star-spangled field. The Bees fell 9-3 on Tuesday, then bounced back to pick up a 5-1 Independence Day triumph in Matt Kniginyzky’s return.

The Iowa Army National Guard had a big presence here on Tuesday, when we kicked off the back-to-back fireworks festivities.

Our friends from Supporting Our Families & Troops (S.O.F.T.) continue to set up their display by the main gate, leading up to our care-package drop-off coming up on Saturday.
