Bees turn three, but fall 4-2

If you were here last night, you got to see a baseball rarity.

In the third inning of their 4-2 loss to Kane County, your Bees turned a triple play — just the eighth one in our franchise’s 46-year history in the Midwest League. And here’s a fun fact: The last time the Bees turned a triple play was exactly a year ago to the day. On July 31, 2006, your Bees recorded their first triple play since 1989.
