Randy’s back!

We’ve got some great news as we wrap up this eight-game home stand.

Our “Voice of the Bees,” Randy Wehofer will be back on the air tonight. He’s recovering from a successful surgery this last Friday.

For the first time in almost two weeks, you can listen to Randy on the Bees Radio Network — 1490 AM KBUR and 1360 AM KBKB The Ticket — or at http://www.gobees.com. This is great timing for Randy to be back in the swing of things, as he has a speaking part in the movie filming here tomorrow.

As we welcome Randy back, we are losing three valued members of our summer-intern team. This is the last day for Tom Felgar, Ian Price, and Paul Swafford. Tonight is Intern Appreciation Night, an opportunity for us to thank all of our interns for their hard work and contributions. It’s been a great group to work with, and we are excited that our three other summer interns — Ashley Jay, Ross Claussen, and Ryan Claussen — will be with us through the end of the season.

Your Bees will try to pick up their ninth win in ten games, hosting Dayton tonight at 7. It’s our last home game until Saturday’s 6 o’clock contest against the Swing of the Quad Cities on Survivors’ Night, in partnership with the American Cancer Society.
