A Veteran Honored on Sunday

Mr. Dale Carter, a Montrose resident, was honored on the field before Sunday’s game. What a great moment it was. Mr. Carter had served his country in World War II but, by mistake, was not given the proper medals that he deserved for his service.

Congressman Dave Loebsack was on hand to give a short presentation, and then awarded Mr. Carter eight medals including the Purple Heart. It was a very moving ceremony and we thank all of our veteran and current military who help protect this great country!

It was an exciting Sunday as the Bees shutout West Michigan 6-0. Even with the heat, everyone had a great time!

One of our Baseball Buddies from the Danville Bears runs out with Kyle Martin during the starting lineups.

With the hot temperatures, the Wet Zone was the place to be!
