Bees to Face Major Leaguer Jon Lieber

Cubs pitcher Jon Lieber will make a rehab start for the Peoria Chiefs tonight against the Bees. Lieber, who signed with the Cubs as a free agent on January 16, is 2-3 with a 3.43 ERA in 25 games this season. In 44 2/3 innings this season, he has 26 strikeouts and just five walks issued. It was kind of cool seeing former Bees Luke Hochevar and Mark BUehlre going head to head the other night.

  2. Jared Says:

Yes it was Ian, the veteran vs. the young prospect. Very cool!

  3. Trev Says:

I enjoyed watching Hochevar strike out Justin Upton during inter-league play. Same result as when they met at community field.
