A Special Guest at Community Field

Former Royals 3rd Basemen Joe Randa is making a short stop in Burlington through Thursday to work with some of the infielders. Randa, who played 12 years in the Major Leagues (eight with the Royals), was a very solid hitter at the plate, but really excelled in the field. In 2003, Randa set the Kansas City Royals’ team record for the most consecutive errorless games by a third baseman, going 75 games without an error.

It’s always great to see former players working with the young prospects, and we’re glad to have him here at The Hive!
